EXTRA BET 1 - 8th March
This was a great one and one of my proudest moments - of the day!
MAN U vs ATHLETIC BILBAO
I looked at the odds out of interest on Betfair when i had only just noticed that the match was on Channel 5 - it was 22 minutes in and no goals, AB i think have been 10 times champions of the La Liga and are one of the fittest teams in Europe. Now check this out - their odds were 18-1 to back them, wow!
I jumped at the bet and threw £10 on it with potential £170 profit or at least a nice little cash out on the live market if anything happened against Man U.
20 mins to go and AB make it 2-1 after a great game, I have the option to cash out with £118 profit right now or hold on and hope AB make it to the end and still win. I take the cash-out deal of £118 profit - Had I the nerve for an extra 20 mins I would have got the full whack as AB won 2-3, could of got £170
But from £10 to £118 in less than 90 mins - I was quite happy with the deal! :)
