On an Interesting RUN

Although I bet on the football each week this is not where the money has been won recently!

Southampton has been at fault for losing me the last two weeks, their winning run had come to an end some time ago but they will still go up to the premiership just as predicted - I just wish they would get back to their winning ways and win me some money.

So the extra bets recently have been going on the ftse, I've been following what I've been doing on FTSEpredictions.blogspot.com to the letter and got a nice little earner last week but it's hit ans miss.

I found a great little way to bet big but cover yourself and if it goes wrong the loss is minimal:

£40 LAY at 1.05 - Liability £2 then
£40 BACK at 1.10 to win £4

Guaranteed profit!

Great runs and dropped teams

As of now - Man City are off the list, these things have gotta move quickly and after losing two seemingly obvious games that caused accumulators to be lost I'm afraid Manchester's second team must be dropped and...done...they're dropped.

On a second note after the past few weeks betting there have been a few teams that have won their games every single time, now obviously their run will come to an end but Southampton, Reading and Sunderland have been bringing in the money recently so well done to them and if there is a large stake bet to be had then those three would be it....

.....which is exactly what I'll be doing next week so hold the press!

MIni Sweet 16's for 24th March...

So close last week as only two off on all accumulators.  If only there was a little sports almanac book like in Back to the Future 2 which listed all the winners of all events for the next 20 years - not my luck though to ever have anything like that - so we simply just speculate....

This week I've gone for three dead certs - haha! - Well, you never know!
All bets based on £3 stake again......

Man Utd, Southampton, Man City, Reading & Sunderland - £28.29 - seems rather low but then they are all odds on favourites - lets see if that makes a difference!?

Liverpool, Arsenal, Middlesbrough, Torquay & Chelsea to all win - £30.47

Celtic, Birmingham, Everton, Coventry, Cheltenham to all win - £164.05 - I feel more comfortable with this bet than the second one - strange but as always - you never know!

I learnt that to place small accumulators you should never have the same team in more than one bet as if that team loses you lose all the bets no matter what happens to the other team, so I've managed to keep that one tip this week!

Mini Sweet 16's for 17th March

Feeling quietly confident about my mini sweet 16's this week, they are as follows all with £3 stakes on the accumulators:

Sunderland, Tottenham, Swansea, Southampton & Sheffield United all to win for £176

Reading, Blackpool, Watford, Huddersfield & Bristol Rovers to win for £127


Chelsea, Newcastle, Oxford, MK Dons, Shrewsbury, Charlton & Leyton Orient all to win their matches this weekend for £199

Maybe a Crystal Ball would help......

They all sound reasonable as always but it's just one of those things that you never can tell what will happen on any given day.  I have swiped a few teams that are not on my sweet 16 accumulator bet just to mix it up but I will probably regret that along the way somewhere.

Last week I was just 2 teams away from a nice profit let's hope I can get a bit closer than that this time!

F1 is starting up as well this weekend so might put a few extra bets on the Australian race but I'll see what the deal is first.  :)

Man City to win backed at 1.68

West Ham & Blackpool are to blame for my Mini losses but it made me wonder, if it all took was to move the other teams who won over from the other bet then I wold of had an 8-fold winner.  Of course this is hindsight talking but if only.

Lost the Sweet 16 Speculation as soon as Liverpool lost to Sunderland, I might Sub them out asap as think that Liverpool have lost their way at the moment.

Got a bet on today for Man City to win backed at 1.68 against Swansea £10 would get you £6.80 profit ETC - seems like a no brainer but.......

...Ah - well I never thought Swansea would beat Man City haha, that's the end of Man City's season then!

10th March Mini Sweet 16's

I've gone for two mini 16's today with the below extra 2 five fold accumulators:

I've bet on, Southampton, Chelsea, Brighton, Reading & West Ham to all win their games with a £5 bet, because of the low odds the return on this could be £40.91 at William Hill.

2nd Mini 16 is for Aston Villa, Blackpool, Sheff Utd, Carlisle & Huddersfield to all win their games, £4 could bring in £147.49

So let's see what happens, these bets are obviously on top of the Standard Sweet 16 Speculation.  Also Check out the Extra Bets page for my nice little earner on the Man U vs Athletic Bilbao game.

4th March Still Learning...

I see the last two weekends as tester events and will now put my all into the blog to keep myself informed of mistakes and I hope to post some winnings here shortly.

A friend asked me why I don't use Betfair as I use it for so many other events but although they do have betting slips and you can place accumulators there has never seemed a way to be able to bet on more than 5 teams from a league on any given day within in an accumulator.

But I don't mind going to the bookies, it all adds to the fun of it.  I pick my betting slip up on a thursday and place the bets the following day or early on the saturday.

Incidentally this week I was one away from a Mini 16 which would have seen me take £499 from £5 and 7 away from the big 16.

Next week and from then on I will post completely detailed betting slips and what exactly I have bet on including subs and Mini's to see how I fare.

1st Post - Already missed half the season!

Weekend ending 26th feb-

I have set up this blog to inform any followers who wish to follow of my betting techniques and try outs!  I use the Sweet 16 Speculation Betting system along with lots of mini Sweet 16s, when I get into this again properly I will hope to have shown some winnings along the way - but we shall see!

I have into this season very late and my selection of teams may not be the best this year but I will play it out as per the rules and see what happens.

My first bet btw ended not so good - I only had 5 losses on my teams this weekend but lost my Mini's by only three teams.
